A well-drafted contract can be the best risk management tool. We review client contracts for our insureds in order to determine the insurability of those contracts, and to help identify issues in the contracts that may increase the liability exposure of our insureds. We are highly knowledgeable on important contract topics such as the standard of care, duty to defend, indemnification clauses, warranties and guarantees, time constraints, limitations of liability, consequential damages, and more. We work with our clients to make sure their contracts limit their liability exposures and are constantly negotiating with third parties on behalf of our clients.
We educate our clients on coverage limitations and requirements while advising them on the pre-claims assistance service available from carriers. We have internal controls in place to make sure circumstances and claims are acknowledged in a timely manner and we are in constant communication with carriers to advocate for the best interests of our clients. We also educate our clients on the intricacies of how claims and circumstances affect their overall insurance program.
